Rice's lyrics for this song are sligthly ironic (in a bad way) "Che" was a marxist in reallity and wouldn't have felt that chairty was a 'voulantary' thing...yet in this song Che seems to have abandoned marxim for some good old westren rhetoric because Rice & Webber needed him to.
(Ok I'm finished bitching now)
It's still a WONDERFUL musical just historicaly and politicaly flawed.
